Jake "The Bad" Omen took on Staton "The Viper" Gavia in a catch weight bout at 150 pounds. Jake came in to replace originally scheduled Joe Blake. These two warriors put on a show that would win them fight of the night honors in the eyes of the Waukesha Wrecking staff. Jake would land a kick first, but it was Staton's right cross that staggered Jake early. Staton shot in and got the takedown, but Jake stood right back up and landed a few knees in the clinch for good measure. However it's not long and Staton secured a single leg and took it back down to the ground where he landed a wicked elbow strike. Jake threw up an armbar attempt, but Staton defended, escaped and punished him for the trouble. Jake threw up several Triangle attempts, all defended well by "The Viper". Stanton postured up in "The Bad" Omen's guard and landed a few elbows, but left one hanging as Jake grabbed it and threw up another arm bar attempt. Stanton lifted and spiked Jake down and yet again escaped another submission attempt, and yet again made Jake pay by landing more elbows. In the second Staton landed a superman punch followed by a high kick followed by a takedown into Jake's guard. Staton stood up in Jake's guard and landed some vicious strikes before he stood back up. Staton made several attempts at another takedown before he secured a single leg and again damaged his opponent on the ground. Staton attempted to pass Jake's guard but is unable to and they are eventually stood back up. Both men clinch and Jake is able to land some effective knees, until Staton secures another takedown just before the end of the round. At the start of the third round Stanton landed a right cross and attempted a spinning backfist. Stanton again took the fight down to the ground. Jake threw his legs up for an armbar attempt, but to no avail. In the scramble Stanton moved to side control and landed some knees to the body. Jake pulled guard, but ate a few elbows and hammerfists in the midst. Once they stood up Stanton landed a superman punch, followed by a high kick, followed by a spinning backfist. Jake attempted a spinning backfist of his own but missed. Stanton again secured a takedown right before the end of the fight earning him the decision victory.
Staton Gavia wins via Split Decision at 5:00 of Round 3.
